Privacy Policy
Scope
This Privacy Policy applies when you visit the BRD Wallet website, use the BRD Wallet desktop application, or use the website support chat. “BRD Wallet,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to BRD Wallet, Inc.
Self-custody and wallet data
BRD Wallet is self-custody software. Private keys and recovery material are generated and stored locally in an encrypted vault on your device. BRD Wallet does not take custody of your assets, and support cannot access your wallet or restore funds without the correct recovery phrase.
The application processes wallet addresses, balances, transaction history, network activity, and fee information when needed to display your portfolio or prepare an action. Blockchain records are public and generally cannot be changed or deleted by BRD Wallet.
Website data and essential storage
When you visit the website, hosting and security services may process limited technical information such as your IP address, browser, operating system, requested pages, and timestamps. This information may be used to deliver the website, maintain security, diagnose errors, and improve reliability.
The website uses essential browser storage to remember your consent choice. Marketing analytics do not collect wallet addresses, balances, recovery material, or private keys.
Website support
The scripted support chat asks for an email address and an issue description. You may also include non-secret context such as your operating system, application version, action, asset, network, or public transaction ID.
The latest email, issue text, and timestamp may be stored in your browser’s local storage so the scripted interaction can prepare and display its completion state. This information is not transmitted to a support backend by the website and remains on the device until it is replaced or you clear site data.
Networks and third-party services
BRD Wallet may connect to blockchain networks, infrastructure providers, explorers, indexers, and independent swap providers. These services may process technical or public blockchain information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Third-party availability, data practices, eligibility requirements, and geographic restrictions are controlled by the respective provider.
Use, disclosure, and retention
We use information to operate and secure the website and application, provide the scripted support experience, diagnose product issues, comply with legal obligations, and prevent fraud or misuse.
Information may be shared with service providers acting on our behalf, authorities where disclosure is legally required, or parties involved in a protected business transaction. BRD Wallet does not sell wallet data or use it for behavioral advertising.
Personal information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose, legal obligation, security investigation, or dispute. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no electronic system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a portable copy of your personal information. We may need enough information to verify and process a request.
BRD Wallet is intended for people legally permitted to use digital asset software in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.
Privacy questions and requests may be mailed to BRD Wallet, Inc., 548 Market Street, Suite 40495, San Francisco, CA 94104, United States. The website Support link opens the scripted product-support chat and does not submit legal correspondence.
Terms of Service
Acceptance and eligibility
By visiting the website, downloading the application, or using BRD Wallet, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the website or application.
You must have the legal capacity to accept these terms and may use BRD Wallet only where permitted by applicable law.
Nature of the product
BRD Wallet provides self-custody software for viewing and interacting with supported blockchain networks. It is not a bank, exchange, broker, custodian, payment provider, or investment adviser.
Your assets exist on their respective blockchains. BRD Wallet provides an interface for managing the keys and preparing actions that you authorize.
Software license
BRD Wallet grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to install and use the application for its intended purpose.
You may not sell, sublicense, misuse, interfere with, or commercially exploit protected parts of the software. Restrictions on reverse engineering apply only to the extent permitted by law.
Keys, passwords, and recovery
You control the private keys and recovery material associated with your wallet. You are responsible for protecting your device, wallet password, recovery phrase, and any backup you create.
BRD Wallet cannot reset or reproduce a lost recovery phrase. Losing the required recovery material may result in permanent loss of access to your assets.
Transactions and network fees
Before approving a transaction, review the destination, network, asset, amount, network fee, and expected result. Blockchain transactions are generally irreversible after confirmation.
Network fees are determined by the relevant blockchain and may change with network conditions. BRD Wallet does not guarantee transaction speed, settlement, recipient accuracy, or fee stability.
Swaps and third-party routes
Available swaps may be provided through independent third-party routes. Availability depends on the asset, network, location, liquidity, and provider.
Estimated fees and amounts may change before execution. Third-party services operate under their own terms, privacy policies, eligibility rules, and geographic restrictions. BRD Wallet does not control their availability, pricing, or execution.
Digital asset risks
Digital assets can lose value and may be affected by market changes, network congestion, forks, protocol defects, smart-contract failures, malicious software, regulatory action, or service interruptions.
Portfolio values, transaction information, and route estimates are informational. Nothing on the website or in the application is investment, tax, legal, or financial advice.
Acceptable use
You may not use BRD Wallet to violate applicable law, evade sanctions, infringe the rights of others, distribute malware, commit fraud, gain unauthorized access, or disrupt the website, application, networks, or connected services.
Updates and availability
BRD Wallet may release updates that add, change, or remove functionality, supported networks, integrations, or system requirements. You are responsible for obtaining the application from an authentic BRD Wallet source and keeping your device reasonably secure.
The website and application may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, network conditions, security issues, or third-party services.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, BRD Wallet is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every device or asset, or error-free access to every supported network.
BRD Wallet, Inc. and its service providers are not responsible for losses caused by exposed recovery material, incorrect addresses, user-approved transactions, blockchain behavior, unsupported assets, third-party services, or events outside their reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms limits rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded in your jurisdiction.
Changes and contact
These terms may be updated when the product, connected services, or applicable requirements change. The current version will be published on this page.
Questions about these terms may be mailed to BRD Wallet, Inc., 548 Market Street, Suite 40495, San Francisco, CA 94104, United States. The website Support link provides product guidance but does not submit correspondence.
